Raised in South Dakota, Megan recently graduated from University of Wisconsin-River Falls with a Bachelor's in journalism. She has worked for KEVN TV and Wisconsin Public Radio.

• 8/ 5/2004: Radio Story - Almost half of the State Capitol grounds were roped off to the public for John Kerry's visit. The only way on the public land was to get a ticket from the Democratic Party.
• 8/ 2/2004: Radio Story - After repeated requests for Governor Holden's flight records, the Office of Administration released only part of the data. Using the data, it was found that Holden visited one Missouri city more often.
• 7/29/2004: Radio Story - The Missouri State Parks Reservation Center is run by a South Dakota firm. The center employs about 20 South Dakotans to reserve camp sites for Missouri State Parks.
• 7/27/2004: Radio Story - With growing popularity and fatalities at the Lake of the Ozarks, the Missouri Water Patrol is understaffed.
• 7/22/2004: Radio Story - One month in the state-sponsored medical malpractice program and only one doctor has been approved. Governor Holden ordered the program to help alleviate high medical malpractice premiums.
• 7/19/2004: Radio Story - The nation's Amber Alert system will now use cell phones, pagers and the web to inform policy agencies and the public about abducted children. Missouri Highway Patrol plans on using the technology as an additional tool, but still keeping the current system.

• 6/29/2004: Radio Story - Governor Holden's campaign accuses gubernatorial opponent Claire McCaskill of illegally receiving donations from her husband. But Holden has not officially filed a complaint with the Missouri Ethics Commission.
• 6/24/2004: Radio Story - 16 National Guardmen from Mid-Missouri are heading to Afghanistan. While the specifics of the mission are unknow, the National Guard says these men will be training the Afghan National Army.
• 6/22/2004: Radio Story - Residents of the Evergreen Condominiums asked the Missouri Water Patrol to have their cove be a no anchor area. The patrol denied the request saying the cove is too big to restrict. The owners are trying to move the boat party that's famous for its x-rated behavior.
• 6/14/2004: Radio Story - Gubernatorial Candidate Claire McCaskill says rural Missouri has been ignored and proposes an eight-point plan to revamp the area.
• 6/ 7/2004: Radio Story - The Public Service Commission held a hearing to fine-tune a new rule to protect consumers. The rule developed after several customer complained about being denied utility services because of someone else's unpaid bills.
