Darryl Franklin

Darryl Franklin is a Senior at the University of Missouri in Columbia. He is currently pursuing dual degrees in broadcast journalism and political science. He will be graduating in December 2004. Franklin has worked in various capacities at KOMU-TV 8, an NBC affiliate in Columbia since 2000. Franklin attended Mt. Hebron High School in Ellicott City, Maryland. In the spring of 2000, Franklin reported, produced and anchored the crtically accliamed "TECH-nical Foul" which received regional praise in the Washington Post and Howard County Times for its investigation into recruiting violations taking place at area tech-magnet high schools. Franklin began his broadcast career growing up in Toronto, Ontario. Franklin was born May 26, 1982 in Richmond, British Columbia.
