Although the state legislature isn't currently debating the right to carry guns, the issue isn't forgotten. Darryl Franklin has more on the proponents of the second ammendment from the State Capital.

About sixty people gathered in the Rotunda to show that their sympathies toward the second ammendment. Dale Schmid President of the Second Ammendment Coalition of Missouri says second ammendment issues go beyond the conceal and carry measure.
"We need to be aware that there's more to the second ammendement than the right to carry. That's an important battle but it's not the war. The fight goes on."
After overriding the governor's veto, the legislature now awaits aproval from the State Supreme Court.
