After hearing Vice-President Cheney speak to his school Monday, Westminster President Fletcher Lamkin says he was surprised and disappointed by what he described as "Kerry-bashing".

Lamkin is giving the same stage to the Democrats to make their statement on Friday by inviting presidential hopeful John Kerry to speak at the Fulton college.

In a conference call with reporters, Lieutenant Governor Joe Maxwell says Kerry's speech will not be as political as the Vice President's message.
