Missouri legislators reacted this week to the Massachusetts Supreme Court ruling on gay marriage. Darryl Franklin tells why one state legislator supports the decision.
The Massachusetts Supreme Court ruled today that equal marriage rights--instead of civil unions--are, in fact, constitutional.
Missouri Representative Barbara Fraser says the New England court is handling the issue appropriately.
"I think the courts are doing what they are supposed to do. They are looking at the law in terms of the law and not really at emotional issues, but in fact very objectively."
