Max Reiss

Max Reiss is a State Capital & Jefferson City Correspondent for KMOX-AM in St. Louis.This is his third year working in St. Louis' most trusted source for news State Capitol Bureau. Max is currently covering his third legislative session.

His first gig in the broadcast news business was as a newsroom intern for 1010 WINS-AM in New York City, America's most listened to radio station. 1010 WINS then hired Max to be its blogger from the 2008 Democratic National Convention in Denver, CO.

In addition to KMOX and WINS, Max has also produced stories that have been heard nationally on ABC News Radio. Max worked for one year as a reporter (live) and anchor KOMU-TV8 in Columbia, MO.

Born in New York City, Max's family moved just north of the city to Mt. Vernon, NY and attended high school at Fieldston in the Riverdale section of the Bronx. Max's family now resides in Yonkers, NY. 

Max will graduate from the University of Missouri School of Journalism in May 2010 with a degree in Radio-Television Journalism as well as Minors in Political Science and Classical Humanities.
