    Status: H 2nd Read
Description: Provide another method by which the legislature can enact a clause with a two-thirds majority that a law take effect upon signing by the governor. There already is a provision for such an emergency clause. This provides an duplicate provision for enacting a law less than 90 days before the conclusion of a session, but simply terms it it a "convenience clause."

Note: The descriptions of bills, amendments and roll-call votes are written by MDN journalists. MDN's database may not include committee assignments of bills made on the last day of the session since it is too late for the committee to act on the bill and, thus, the delayed assignment has no practical effect.
