    Description: Have sheriffs rather than the Revenue Department issue concealed weapons permits. Take any notice off driving licenses. The amended HCS allows school districts to empower teachers and staff to carry weapons and detain people, makes concealed weapons permits valid for life, prohibits disclosing permit holders to the federal government. Some provisions are in HB 486.
