Wrap: Commissioner Doug Nelson said the House denied his request for information on who tried to access the list of concealed carry owners from a House computer last week.

Nelson said a House computer attempted to access the list 23 times on May 2nd using log-in information given to a social security agent.

Republican House Speaker Tim Jones said he thinks OA made the request because the administration is quote embarrased about the recent licensing investigation.

Description: “I think it’s only because the House is controlled by a supermajority of Republicans who are lawfully investigating the unlawful activity of governor Nixon’s administration.”

The House responded to OA's request and said that under Missouri law, legislators' information is not open to the public.
