Lawmakers mull naming new Mississippi river bridge after "Stan the Man"

Missouri is one step closer to naming a bridge after "Stan the Man" after a Senate transportation committee hearing on Wednesday.

Wrap: Senators John Lamping and Eric Schmitt sponsored two bills asking for the same thing--- to name a new bridge over the Mississippi River after the late Stan "the man" Musial.

At a Senate Transportation and Infrastructure committee hearing Schmitt said Musial was one of the best baseball players of all time, and mentioned another Musial monument.
