Murphy says the recent snow storms and rain has given moisture to the soil and has improved drought conditions.

Description: "Although we haven't completely recharged the aquifers and the water supply, it does appear that we have some relief from the drought."

Murphy says with consistent rain fall, farmers could see a better crop production this year. Murphy says he lost 50-percent of his yield last year, but is expecting better results this year.
