House Commmittee Hears Testimony from Mamtek Lawyer

After an afternoon of testimony the Chair of a House Committee investigating Mamtek's failed Moberly plant says we now know the general facts.

Wrap: The committee heard testimony from 3 key witnesses including Mamtek's former patent lawyer and the site consultant who helped the company pick the city of Moberly for their new plant.  

After the hearing ended, Representative Jay Barnes said there were a number of areas where this could have been prevented.

Wrap: The House Committee heard testimony from Jeff Wise, who was Mamtek's patent lawyer since 2006.

Wise testified via teleconference from Los Angeles and provided answers explaining his knowledge of Mamtek and their factory in China.

He said he visited the factory multiple times between 2006 and 2009, but didn't know when the factory was in production during that time. 

Committee Chairman Jay Barnes said there were areas where this could have been prevented.
