Democrats issue their own report regrading E. coli levels at Lake of th Ozarks

Intro:  The partisan battle over E. coli in the Lake of the Ozarks continues in the dead of winter.

Wrap: Maryville Republican Senator Brad Lager defended the Commerce Committee's Majority Report after the Committee's Democratic members criticized it in a Minority Report.

Lager says the Majority Report was not politically driven and all members of the Committee had an opportunity to consult with him.

Description: "If this was politically driven we would of started subpoenaing people. If this was politically driven we would of drug the Governor's guys in and had them testify. If this was politically driven we would of taken that whole report and beaten up on the Governor."

On the other hand, St. Louis Senator Joan Bray says the she is disappointed that this serious issue has been dealt with in such a partisan way.

Wrap: St. Louis Senator Joan Bray expressed her concerns on Friday when her and two other Democratic Senators released a Minority Report regarding the Commerce Committee's Majority Report about E. coli levels at the Lake of the Ozarks.

Bray says the committee's Democratic members didn't have a chance to read the Majority Report before it was drafted.
