Wrap: White flakes are falling onto the House Chamber, but Winter weather is not to blame.  The ceiling in the chamber is deteriorating.

After 22 years of working as the Director of Operations for the House of Representatives, Keith Sappington says he has never dealt with a problem like this before.

Actuality:  SPGTN.WAV
Run Time:  00:13
Description: "Well this is an old building. I mean it's been around a long long time. So I mean things pop up sporadically with a building of this age, and it's just something a nature of our business and nature of the building."

Sappington says the workers will need about three weeks to finish the work, but it will be fixed before the legislative session resumes.

Reporting from the state Capitol I'm Becky May.
