Renewable energy event doesn't stick to script for Nixon

Intro:  At an event to celebrate a renewable energy project Monday, the introduction of Gov. Jay Nixon lasted longer than his prepared remarks. Theo Keith has more from Jefferson City.

Wrap: Gov. Jay Nixon spoke for just three minutes on renewable energy Monday at the Jefferson City Correctional Center's new renewable energy facility.

It took five minutes to introduce him.

There was Nixon's educational background.
