Gaw warns of future rate hikes

Intro: As Terry Jarrett prepares to step in as the new head of the Public Service Commission, outgoing commissioner Steve Gaw issued a warning to utility rate payers in Missouri.

Gaw expects there to be increasing pressure over the next few years for utility rates in Missouri to rise.

Gaw explained the current system for delivering energy as well as the heightened investment in it over the next few years would lead to the rate hikes.
