Missouri's Democratic Representative Clint Zweifel says the Governor's decision is an important step towards giving the legislature a voice in the college loan program.

The decision called for legislative approval for proposals by the college loan board. 

However, the Saint Louis County Democrat says he is disappointed about what is happening within the Governor's Office.

Saint Louis County House Democrat Clint Zweifel has been a leading critic of the governor's plan.

He says that further analysis on the college loan program is needed and praises the governor's change of position in legislative involvement.
