Travis Thompson

Travis knew he wanted to be a broadcast reporter as a teenager. At 16, he was a host and producer for KNOR radio in Norman, Oklahoma. He also reported and anchored for Cable 18 TV as a student at Norman North High School. Since then, he's worked in many capacities in broadcast news. He was a production assistant for CNBC Europe in London. He's worked at KBIA radio in Columbia, Missouri and currently works at KOMU TV 8. Travis made the trek from Norman to Columbia to study journalism at the University of Missouri. When he's not reporting from the capital, Travis is also an MU Journalism Ambassador.
