Democrats and Republicans continue to argue over election results.

The spin began between Republicans and Democrats just hours after the election.

Kelly Snyder has more on both parties' reaction to the election.

Democrats say Blunt's leadership is the main reason for Rep. Jane Bogetto's win over favored Repbulican Moira Byrd.

Bogetto says education and Medicaid issues contributed to her victory.

Contents: When I was knocking on doors, they were concerned with the new school funding plan and then came along the 100 thousand medicaid cuts and that really resounded with the people. Not only is it morally wrong, but it is fiscally irresponsible. So I think it was a reaction to Blunt.

Newly elected Republican Jason Smith also disagrees with some of Blunt's Medicaid cuts.

The Governor's Office congratulated only Republican winners and says the overall election results show Republican support.
