Jacob proposes legislation to further restrict conceal and carry

Senate leadership wants further restrictions to the state's conceal and carry law. Matt Johnson explains how the battle is not over.

Senate minority floor leader Ken Jacob proposes a bill including further restrictions to the law.

Representative Larry Crawford introduced the original conceal and carry legislation which triumphed over a legal challenge last month.

He says Jacob is off track.

"Actually, he's not in favor of the entire bill and worked against the bill in the past...so even though his bill may...even though some of the things, even if they did have merit...I'm sure that since he'd be in control of the bill, he would try to subvert the entire bill or his wish would be to do away with the conceal and carry."

Although Jacob was in stiff opposition to the original legislation, he says he would have voted for the bill, had it included his proposed restrictions.
