Record number of Missourians registered to vote

If you live in Missouri Wednesday is the last day you can register to vote. Bente Birkeland has more from Jefferson City.

Election officials say a record number of Missourians are already registered to vote. Boone county Clerk Wendy Noren says her biggest challenge is dealing with voters who move without changing the address on their registration form.

Contents: Voters who show up and they aren't at the right address we have to correct their address and get them to the correct polling place."

You can register to vote at the Department of Motor Vehicles, a social service agency, or contact your local election authority.

Boone county clerk Wendy Noren says she's glad so many people are registered to vote. But Noren says voters still need to make sure the information on their registration form is accurate.

Contents: There's a lot of people who think I don't have to worry about this deadline because I'm registered. Well they've moved two or three times since they've voted.

Under Missouri law the address on your voter registration form must be current, if it's not you will not be able to vote.
