Political analysts are disagreeing on the impact of Democratic Presidential candidate John Kerry's decision to reduce Missouri ad spending.

Jade Mingus has more from the state Capital.

Some political analysts say John Kerry's decision will benefit Democrats like Claire McCaskill.

But University of Missouri political science professor, Marvin Overby, says John Kerry's decision will hurt Claire McCaskill's campaign.

"There won't be as much national Democratic money turning out the base Democratic votes."

Overby says the money the John Kerry campaign pulls out of Missouri needs to be replaced.

Kerry is now redirecting his ad money to states like Florida and Ohio.
