MoStuGov
Helping Missouri students get the most out of State Government

More than 1200 bills are considered annually by the Missouri General Assembly.  Serveral of the bills directly affect high school students.

This Web site is designed to help teach high school journalism students how to cover statehouse news and events.  It also provides stories that your newspaper can run and tips on how to localize the story -- to make it more pertinent to fellow students.

Each week there will be a story on a new issue that affects teens.  We'll maintain an archive of those those stories, as well as stories MoStuGov produced during the 2006 legislative session.

In addition, we have provided instructional pages to help you better understand the legislative process.
