2019 Bill(s)

* HCS HB 548
Sponsor: Eggleston, J.
Status: H Perfection
Description: Phase in lower income tax rates. Extend the sales tax to online sales by out-of-state businesses that are delivered to Missouri. Legislative staff estimate the HCS version of the bill utlimately could cost the state more than $80 million in FY 2022. The bill was perfected, but the House voted to return the bill to the House Rules - Legislative Oversight Committee which reported it out May 6 when there were less than two weeks left in the legislative session.

  • Note: The descriptions of bills, amendments and roll-call votes are written by MDN journalists. MDN's database may not include committee assignments of bills made on the last day of the session since it is too late for the committee to act on the bill and, thus, the delayed assignment has no practical effect.
