    Description: Give a funeral director power to let a majority of those with equal priority to determine the disposition of a dead body if there is a disagreement. The final version of the bill expands the types of licensed professionals who can issue death certificates including advanced practice nurses. Nixon wrote in his veto letter that expanding who could issue death certificates could put vital records at risk.

    Description: Extend the period that for a rate increase that a natural gas company can charge for infrastructure replacement from three to five years. Change the limit of how much can be changed from a percentage of base revenue to gross revenue. Current provisions limit it to 10 percent of base revenue. The bill would base it on gross revenue, excluding taxes.
