* SCS HB 30 Sponsor:Brandom, Ellen Status: S 3rd Read Description: Establish a system for providing drug testing of welfare recipients suspected of using illegal drugs. Provide a one year ban on welfare to a person who tests positive. SCS requires drug testing of candidates for statewide office and the legislature. It also requires drug and alcohol testing of tax credit recipients under some circumstances.
