Intro:
The Missouri Supreme Court decided St. Louis City can raise its minimum wage to eleven dollars by two-thousand eighteen.
RunTime: 0:24

Wrap: The city ordinance will adjust the minimum wage according to inflation for each year after two-thousand eighteen.

The court ruled unanimously, with one concurrent opinion.

In two-thousand fifteen, the General Assembly passed a second measure to ban local minimum wage increases. However, the St. Louis ordinance was not affected according to the court.
