Senator Bob Onder responds to House committee voting down religious freedom bill

After passing a record filibuster in the Senate, the religious freedom bill was killed by the House Emerging Issues Committee.

Wrap: The bill would have allowed Missouri voters to vote if businesses should be protected to deny wedding services to same-sex couples.  

The House committee voted down a tie vote on the bill.

Although legislative session is about to conclude, bill sponsor Republican Senator Bob Onder from St. Charles does not believe the issue of religious freedom will die with the bill.
