Wrap: Missouri lawmakers voted to have unaccredited school districts pay to send students to private schools in the area.

Democratic St. Louis County Senator Maria Chapelle-Nadal says her amendment would help students in unaccredited districts attend private schools, charter schools or accredited schools at no extra cost.

Actuality:  CN220.WAV
Run Time:  00:13
Description: "After the point where a student is not able, because of class size or other restraints, is not able to transfer to another accredited school within the district, that opens everything up."

But lawmakers failed to talk about one important provision in the bill...

The bill would allow the board in these unaccredited districts to fire teachers and administrators that are tenured.
