The Chief Justice of the Missouri Supreme Court highlighted the success of state drug courts in his State of the Judiciary address.
That was the sound of cheers emanating from the House Chamber as Chief Justice Richard Teitelman entered to give his State of the Judiciary address.
Teitelman applauded that the state remains as one of the nation's leaders in drug and treatment courts for non-violent criminals.
|Description: "Because it brings positive change to Missourians and their communities, this model of providing treatment to certain nonviolent criminal offenders has moved beyond just drug courts."|
Teitelman also says he has plans to improve educational opportunities and access to courts for people with disabilities.
