Gov. Nixon cancels event after KC school dean slashed in throat

Missouri's governor was minutes away from a Kansas City community college campus when a man slashed the throat of a school dean. Sherman Fabes has more from the state Capitol.

Wrap: Nixon was on his way to Penn Valley Community College for a news conference when a school dean was slashed at the throat.

Kansas City Police Department spokesman Darin Snapp said that the dean has not been confirmed as the target of the attack.
