Intro:House Democrats have asked the Presidential candidates to give Missourians a break from automated campaign pitches. Courtney Cox has more from the state capitol.
Prerecorded phone calls from political candidates could be ending with Missouri's primary. These "robocalls" could be prohibited from reaching members of the state's No Call List. Minority Floor Leader Paul LeVota agrees that campaign phone calls should be restricted. Democrat Representative Ed Wildberger is sponsoring the bill. The measure would continue to allow "live" phone calls from candidates, as well as campaign staff. Reporting from the state Capitol, I'm Courtney Cox.
