Intro: For the second week in a row, the hearing of a bill that would allow the city of Saint Louis complete control over its police force has been cancelled.
Erika Navarrete (Nahv-ah-rett) has more from Jefferson City. For years, large numbers of legislators have raised objections about the city's complete authority over its police force.
After Tuesday's hearing cancellation, this issue has, once again, failed to progress.
St.Louis Democratic Representative Talibdin El-Amin is sponsoring the bill.

The future date of the hearing is not set in stone but is tentatively scheduled for next week. Reporting from the State Capitol, I'm Erika Navarrete, KMOX News.
