Republican Senator Chuck Purgason urged opposition to the formation of a North American Union that would loosen border restrictions between Canada, Mexico, and the United States.

David Keller, with the Missourians Against Illegal Immigration testified in support of Pergason and said he fears a Union such as this one would de-Americanize the United States.

Description: What this would do would be abolish the United States as a sovereign country like we've known, and enjoyed since 1776, and we'd no longer be Americans anymore.

As for testimony in support of the Union? There was none! Purgason is joined by 11 other senators and 84 Missouri House Representatives.
