The new law would repeal automatic minimum wage increases and business owners like Greg Hunsucker from Independence have a problem with how the current system affects restaurant servers. From Jefferson City, I'm Erika Navarrete. Erika Navarrete (Nahv-ah-rett) has more from Jefferson City. The Senate Business Committee was urged to repeal the automatic increase in minimum wage. Instead, Senator Loudon is proposing a fix to the issue by aligning state and federal wages. He also assured the alignment would not put Missouri in a competitive disadvantage.
