Intro: Bare headed bikers got the okay from the Missouri House on Tuesday.
Brooke Hasch (HASH) has more from Jefferson City. The house gave first round approval to a bill that would not require adults to wear a helmet while riding a motorcycle.
The current helmet status of Missouri requires every motorcyclist to wear a helmet at all times.
The bill sponsored by Republican Representative Gary Dusenberg would make that law for only persons under the age of 21.
Republican Representative Rob Schaaf opposes the bill saying this change would kill more Americans and leave Missourians paying for the injured.
From the State Capitol, I'm Brooke Hasch. KMOX News.
