Intro: After the recent shooting in Kirkwood, one Missouri legislator is calling for a repeal of current conceal and carry laws.
Emily Rau has more at the State Capitol. Democratic Senator Yvonne Wilson said she feels there is not enough control over all types of firearms in Missouri.
Wilson said she had just gotten off the phone with a Kirkwood constituent who said he was exhausted and frustrated from talking to lawmakers about gun legislation.
Republican representative and Speaker Pro Tem Bryan Pratt maintains his support for protecting the second amendment, saying both Republicans and Democrats intend to protect a Missourian's right to protect themselves.
