Intro: Missouri Vietnam veterans and their families filled the Rotunda of the state capitol Tuesday afternoon.
Carly Robertson was there and has more on the event: Twenty-one Missourians were honored in a ceremony for the service during the Vietnam War.
Governor Matt Blunt presented each receipent with the state's first Commemorative Vietnam Veterans Medallions.
Blunt says this ceremony is a small way to show appreciation to our country's service men and women.
The Program was created in 2006 after similar awards were given to Veterans of World War Two and the Korean Conflict. From the State Capitol, I'm Carly Robertson.
