The Governor said legalizing the resale of tickets would allow the free market to work, something he and the general assembly are passionate about.

Blunt said it was Missouri's sports teams that originally asked for the measure.

Description: "This is something that all our sports teams in the state asked that we to do. They thought it was in the best interest of their fans that we make that change."

The change will go into affect in 90 days.

It is the hope of the general assembly that the statue will bring in ticket vendors from
     Illinois and Kansas.
