St. Louis Teachers and Students Protest in Jefferson City

Intro: St. Louis teachers and students came to Jefferson City Thursday to protest the possible state takeover of the city's public schools.  Micah Wiener has more from the Capitol.

It was clear Thursday morning that the students and teachers protesting at the Capitol were leaving their seats vaccant back in their St. Louis classrooms.  

When asked who was filling their roles at school, a librarian and two teachers replied:

More than 120 people came to protest at a meeting of the State Board of Education.

Republican Representative Steve Hunter of Joplin says the protestors are doing little more than causing trouble.
