Ann Graff came to Jefferson City with one goal: challenge Governor Matt Blunt to attack poverty.
Graff is the President of the Missouri Association of Community Action. She met with the Governor prior to the rally to discuss reforms to anti-poverty policy. The Missouri Association for Community Action hosted an anti-poverty rally at the state Capitol, hoping to inspire reform in poverty prevention. Donna Beegle served as the headline speaker and explained how one community action committee saved her from poverty. Crowd members were asked to visit with their state representatives to open up discussions about how to end poverty in Missouri. From the state Capitol, I'm Kevin Gehl.
