Gov. Matt Blunt was appointed to the National Governor's Association health care panel Thursday for his work reforming health care in Missouri
Questions from activist groups about the Governor's proposed HealthNet plan remain however.

St. Louis City School district was stripped of it's a accreditation Thursday when the state school board voted to take control of the system.
The board vote was temporarily shut down due to student's chanting about their disapproval of the state takeover.
A transitional school board will be put in place on June 15. Until then, the current school board members will remain on the board but will have no power.
