Intro: After Republican candidate for attorney general, Senate Pro Tem Michael Gibbons, spoke out on the governor's handling of Sunshine law requests, Democratic spokesman Jack Cardetti said he is waiting on a response from the Democratic candidates.
Brandon Smith has more from Jefferson City. Senator Gibbons called for a special prosecutor to handle an investigation over the governor's dealings with Sunshine law.
Cardetti said he expects a response from the Democratic nominees on this controversy.
Cardetti did say the issue should not be a partisan one, and should be about right versus wrong.
Senator Chris Koster and Representative Jeff Harris could not be reached for comment.
Reporting from the State Capitol, I'm Brandon Smith.

Description: I think Sunshine law will be a big issue in the attorney general's race and I think it will be an issue in this governor's race, and frankly that's a good thing.
