Data from the National Safety Council shows agriculture is Missouri's most dangerous industry.
One in every 300 farmers is injured on the job each year.
This is about 10% higher than the average rate.
Mike Mulhall is a director for the National Safety Council of the Ozarks.
They attribute the high injury and fatality rates to the diverse work force, along with a lack of training. From the state capitol, I'm Courtney Cox.
