The governor's office issued a press release at the end of the day, saying it now supports legislative approval on the MOHELA issue.

No one in the governor's office was available to comment.

MOHELA's board is scheduled to vote on the 29th on the latest version of the governor's plan.

House democratic leader Jeff Harris expressed surprise at the governor's reversal.

Description: "Here we are.  It's the latter part of September.  And now aparently there is yet another change of course.  I just wish they'd get their act together.  I'm here to help them, but it's getting frustrating."

Harris supports the governor's plan, even though Attorney General Jay Nixon warned in the beginning of September of potential lawsuits that might result against MOHELA board members because of conflicts of interest.

From the state Capitol, I'm Hillari Duthoo.
