JEFFERSON CITY -Sen. Chuck Graham, D-Columbia, left St. Mary's Hospital in Jefferson City Thursday afternoon where he was being treated for a staph infection on his leg.
"He's responding well to the treatment," said Ted Farnen, the senator's Chief-of-Staff. "The doctors just wanted to make sure they had taken care of the problem, so it didn't get worse."
The senator will return to work full time next week after he rests for the weekend at home. He stopped in to work for a bit after being released on Thursday.
Graham was admitted to the hospital on Monday. He missed a hearing scheduled for Monday night where he was supposed to testify on a bill that would protect journalists from being forced to disclose their sources. He rescheduled his testimony for Monday, Feb. 13.
