JEFFERSON CITY - Sen. Chuck Graham, D-Columbia, is expected to be released from the hospital Thursday and expected to be back at work next week.
Graham was admitted to St. Mary's hospital in Jefferson City for a staph infection in his legand was expected to be released today. But, doctors have decided to keep him for one more night.
"His doctors are taking precautions to make sure that everything is fine," said Chief-of-Staff Ted Farnen.
Graham was forced to forgo discussing two of his bills because of the hospitalization. One bill would create county boards to oversee funding for some regional recreational districts and the other would protect journalists from disclosing sources.
