Governor Matt Blunt officially thanked Franklin Country Sheriff Gary Toelke and his staff after the successful rescue in the Baby Abby kidnapping case.
Toelke took time to praise all involved in the rescue efforts.
Sheriff Toelke also spoke highly of the cooperation between the many jurisdictions that worked together on the case.
The Governor announced a new plan to add over one thousand people to the Amber Alert system through the use of state owned mobile devices.
