During the 2005-2006 school year, she was a graduate assistant working on MoStuGov, a project in collaboration with the Missouri Press Association and the Missouri Broadcasters Association to provide information on issues of importance to teens that are before the Missouri legislature.
Each week, she produced a Web pages on a selected topic that high school newspapers could use to produce stories of interest to teens. Issues included legislation to require schools to adopt policies on bullying and proposals to restrict sales of video games to minors.
