The filibuster is over, for now.
Dan Frumson has more from the state Capitol.
At approximatly fifteen minutes until four o'clock a.m. on Tuesday, Senate Majority Leader Charles Shields called for a layover of the medicaid bill until the Senate's official Tuesday morning session.
Senator Chuck Graham said the move showed that the Republicans hope differences can be resolved with time away from the issue.
He also said it appears as if a compromise could be in the future.
Reporting from the state Capitol, I'm Dan Frumson.
